If you don’t choose a timer setting, you needn’t worry about becoming too hot; the automatic shut-off activates after 20 minutes - a handy safety feature that saves energy.
You can keep your heated electric blanket smelling fresh, too. Just detach the controller and pop it in the washing machine at 40°C or below.
